Other useful tips to keep in mind
The Edinburgh International Festival in August attracts thousands of visitors, so book well in advance for this period. The summer months are the most popular, with prices rising significantly. If you’re coming by car, it’s best to stay in a hotel with a parking lot, as parking in the city center is complex and expensive.
